This was on top of the Galibier. It was a long slog to cycle to the top, but it was worth it if only for the view.
I still don't know how i managed.
This is lightly edited (there's a blue dependent greyscale grain merge layer which is colour dependently selectively alpha merged with the original photo ok that makes little sense but it sounds clever anyway)
you're right ... this mountain is 2645m high and we went to the top.
the smaller plateau with the building just below is simply the last possible stop before the final ascent to the summit ... not that we stopped at all, if we did then it would be difficult to get going again
